Make summer 2008 be the year that your kids focus on delicious healthful eating and fending for themselves in the kitchen. Good nutrition starts in the home.
“MOM I WANT TO BE A CHEF!”— Make summer a fun way for your kids to focus on delicious healthful eating and fending for themselves in the kitchen. Our experienced chef and staff provide 4 half-day (9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.) hands-on kids cooking class sessions as fun activity in a safe environment specifically adapted for ages 10-14. Children walk away with cooking and organizing skills and the recipes to try at home for health conscious meals. Kids gain confidence using kitchen tools and gadgets while learning valuable food handling and measuring skills. Cost includes apron, notebook with recipes and hand-outs to take home plus all food, utensil, and lunch.

“I just wanted to write a note of thanks as you all have given my son an opportunity to do something that he loves during the summer! As I heard of parents dragging their kids to summer activities that they didn’t even want to go to, he was happy and excited to attend South Bay School of Cooking everyday. What a great team of professional people who have personality plus!” - - Misty S.
